Founded in 2016 in Lafayette, Louisianna by a young mom working at a grocery store, Karmacarons was brought to fruition from the dreams of a better life. After reading an article on aquafaba, Kristina spent countless hours everyday perfecting the gluten-free and vegan optional macarons that everyone loves. Growing from selling at farmers markets to wholesaling, Karmacarons made its big break with its first store at a food hall in New Orleans and eventually became the nationwide brand it is today.
Karmacarons was built to be able to serve everyone the perfect french macaron, specializing in gluten free and vegan options. Through the ups and downs of a decade of business, Karmacarons has been dedicated to producing a delicious experience for every customer.
Meet the founder
Having built Karmacarons from the ground up, Kristina remains hands-on in the creation of each macaron. She opened her first storefront in New Orleans with less than a weeks notice of the oppurtunity, while caring for her 3 year old 8 week old sons. Her strength, grit and dedication to her business remain a cornerstone to her success. She enjoys meeting her patrons at the various festival and events she vends, and is grateful to be able to spread joy through her macarons.
